न कहापणवस्सेन, तित्ति कामेसु विज्जति।
अप्पस्सादा दुखा कामा, इति विञ्ञाय पण्डितो॥
स्वर्ण भंडार भी तृष्णा नही मिटा सकते …मन की प्यास नही बुझा सकते …वे समझदार है जो जानते हैं कि तूष्णा ..अन्त मे दु:ख का कारण है ।
धम्मपद – गाथा १८६ बुद्ध्वग्गो
There is no satisfying sensual desires
even with a rain of gold coins, for sense pleasures
give little satisfaction and entail much pain. Having
understood this, the wise person finds no delight even
in heavenly pleasures. The disciple of the Supreme
Buddha delights in the destruction of craving.
